Senator Moore has been representing the people of the Second Worcester District since his election to the State Senate in 2008. Senator Moore has dedicated his adult life to public service, serving as a law enforcement officer, environmental investigator, town selectman, and Assistant Deputy Superintendent at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. Senator Moore currently serves as the Chair of the Senator Committee on Post Audit and Oversight, Vice Chair of the Joint Committee on Financial Services and is a standing member of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means. In addition, Senator Moore was also previously selected to serve as Chair of the Special Senate Committee on Cyber Security Readiness.
