Summary:   We’ll hear from speakers representing Portland Water District, Allagash Brewing Company, and the cybersecurity experts. We’d love to have you join us for an upcoming InfraGard Maine informational event, and please feel free to share with colleagues who may be interested. This event is open to everyone; you do not need to be a member to attend.We’ll be gathering on Thursday, July 23rd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Allagash Brewery’s Great Room (81 Industrial Way, Portland, ME).InfraGard is a partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector, focused on protecting our nation’s Critical Infrastructure, everything from water and energy to communications and public safety. This event is a great opportunity to learn how that mission comes to life here in Maine, and how physical and cybersecurity work together to support and protect the organizations we all rely on.We’ll hear from speakers representing Portland Water District, Allagash Brewing Company, and the cybersecurity experts, who will share practical insights and real-world perspectives.

Summary:   Join us for an enlightening overview of the challenges facing electric utilities and other critical infrastructure as they battle against cyber attacks from criminal groups and nation state adversaries every day. Energy companies, and the electric grid in particular, enjoy some of the highest, best cyber defenses available today, and many of the techniques and best practices can be adopted by other businesses and individuals to ensure their own cyber defense as well.

Summary:   A Tabletop Exercise will put you inside a simulated cyber event to help your organization understand what it takes to respond to a cyber incident. The simulated exercise will emphasize the importance of a well-practiced cyber plan and the skills required to deal with today’s threats.
